Along the way of our fictional expedition, we imagined swallows swooping through the air above our ship as we made our journey to new lands. Long regarded by sailors as symbols of safe passage and good fortune, we wanted to capture the spirit of these lucky charms in brooch form.
The Sailor’s Swallow brooch incorporates rich teal blue bullions with red silks and gold detailing. As an extra special detail, the swallow carries a golden coin in its beak.
