In 2024 Hand & Lock were invited to collaborate with Berghaus to create an extra special jacket to celebrate the 90th birthday of Sir Chris Bonington. We meticulously embroidered a series of badges all created to capture a key moment of significance in his life.
Each badge is created by hand using time honoured techniques passed down through generations of artisans. Each stitch, thread, and design element is crafted with precision, ensuring that the tribute to Sir Chris Bonington’s remarkable life is as enduring and timeless as his legacy. These badges were then carefully sewn onto Berghaus's bespoke Trango jacket ready to be gifted to Sir Chris.
