The Prize Timetable
Registration
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED
The registration period will open and all entrants will sign up for their chosen category. No work or submissions are needed at this point.
Online Submissions
SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED
The online portal will open for entrants to submit up to four images of their work and their final design concepts. No physical work is required at this stage; entrants will only need to submit completed work if they are selected as finalists. A code via email will be sent to all registered participants on 15th April to access the submission portal on our website.

Finalists Selected
All work is provided to our judges anonymously and they will decide on the finalists for this years Prize.
All entrants will be notified if they are through to the next round. If successful our Hand & Lock Prize team will be in touch about next steps. If you have requested so you will also be allocated a mentor.

Deadline for Finalists’
Final pieces must be received at the Hand & Lock studio in London by 5pm on Friday, 10th September 2026.
Finalists are also welcome to deliver their pieces to the studio earlier if this is more convenient.
Finalists are responsible for the transport and shipment of the piece. If your work is especially delicate or prone to damage, please ensure it is supplied with adequate protective packaging and a sturdy container.
The Prize Giving Ceremony
The Prize exhibition will feature all of the finalists incredible work. Finalists are invited to come and make sure their pieces are displayed in a way they are happy with. Our judges will then see all the pieces in person and the winners for each category will be chosen.
The exhibition will open for finalists, their guests and the guests of Hand & Lock, followed by the award ceremony.
Tickets will be available for the public to come and take a look at this year's amazing range of work.
