Here, the padlock motif has been reimagined as the focal point of an ornate jewellery box. Embroidered onto a rich burgundy velvet, the golden padlock is stitched in a mix of metallic threads, creating a tonal, textured surface that catches the light.
Intricate zig-zag and cross-stitches form scrollwork and lace-like patterns, giving the padlock an antique quality reminiscent of filigree metalwork.
