There are picnics to be had in the meadow of wildflowers at Lock Cottage. Roaming ladybirds land on the brightly coloured gingham cloth, mistaking it for flowers, and picnickers make chains of daisies, picked from the meadow.
In this season's version of our classic heart design, bugs and flowers are embroidered in goldwork and thread on an appliqué heart of coral gingham.
