Peas in a Pod is a traditional goldwork taster inspired by the delicate beauty of sweet peas. Over the course of the day, you’ll stitch this elegant design using classic goldwork techniques and combine pearl beading with areas of bright check chipping and cutwork. Worked onto a cotton satin fabric, the design focuses on subtle curves and winding twines made from metal wires and purl bullions. This hands-on class offers a welcoming introduction to goldwork embroidery in the creative surroundings of Hand & Lock. Beginner-friendly and ideal for those who appreciate botanical motifs, this taster will leave you with a beautifully crafted piece that celebrates traditional embroidery and timeless design.
