Learn a new skill right from your home with our bespoke online classes. The embroidery stitches are shown from multiple points of view making learning the techniques as similar as possible to an in person class experience. The classes will cover the basics, insider tips and practical application, making sure you are fully equipped to go on and apply what you have learned to your future projects and develop your own unique style. If you are learning a new skill for a specific purpose and need a little advice, our teachers will be able to talk to you about how you can best apply what you have learnt to your specific project. Upon successful completion of the class you can request an official Hand & Lock certificate detailing the new skills mastered.

The recordings can then be downloaded so you can re-watch them at your leisure between classes and after the course has ended.
Do I need any prior hand embroidery knowledge before taking a class?
We try to keep our classes open to all skill levels, allowing people with different levels of experience to work and learn together. If the course is aimed at more of an experienced embroiderer we will note this in the product description, so always check the description for your specific course details.

If you miss an online class session the recordings of each class are sent out at the end of the day so you can watch them back at your leisure without having to worry about potentially missing content. We highly recommend that you try to attend all the classes to get the best experience and tutor support.
