Learn how to create our stunning new Floral Couture Embellishment design and explore a combination of metal threadwork, silk thread work and couture beading to make these gorgeous tactile flowers. There is an art to combining embroidery techniques to create textures that reflect the real world. Engage in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere as you refine your skills and connect with fellow stitchers from around the globe. Join us for this enriching course, where expert tuition meets creative exploration and come away with a whole plethora of new skills.

Techniques & Breakdown

You will be guided through the process of Floral Couture embroidery from beginning to end with our beautiful 6 week course. With the help of our expert embroidery tutors, you will learn how to create raised elements with felt and soft string, going on to combine a mixture of bullion techniques including cutwork, silk threadwork and hand beading techniques.

Materials & Kits

All of the materials for this course will be sent out to you. You will need a 10 inch seat frame or an equivalent embroidery frame or slate frame for this class. You will need to supply your own embroidery equipment (scissors, needle threaders, daylight lights etc) to suit your learning needs.

Technical Information

Our online courses are delivered via Zoom using a high-quality visualiser for close-up stitching. We record each session so you can catch up or revise later. You’ll also be added to a dedicated WhatsApp group, where students and tutors can connect, share photos, ask questions and cheer each other on.
