Duration: 3 Week Embroidery Course (1 x 2.5 hour session per week for 3 consecutive weeks)

This design captures the movement of starlight through a dynamic fusion of contemporary Goldwork, intricate beading, and delicate featherwork in this luminous piece.

Over this three -week course, you’ll explore a rich variety of contemporary embroidery techniques, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design. You’ll learn how to handle and apply metal threads in fresh, creative ways, build textured surfaces with layered stitching, and incorporate beadwork. Each stage is guided, helping you grow in confidence as your design evolves.

Worked on a deep, cosmic-toned background, your piece comes alive through a vibrant palette of metallics and iridescent beads. A defining feature of this design is the use of featherwork, adding lightness and organic movement that contrasts beautifully with the structured brilliance of goldwork and the bead embellishment.

How the Course Works

Technical Information

Our online courses are delivered via Zoom using a high-quality visualiser for close-up stitching. We record each session so you can catch up or revise later. You’ll also be added to a dedicated WhatsApp group, where students and tutors can connect, share photos, ask questions and cheer each other on.

Shipping Information

All of the materials for your course will be shipped to you, unless otherwise stated in the product description.

UK Shipping - Parcels will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 2 weeks to 3 days before the course start date.

International Shipping - Parcels are shipped via express courier 2 weeks before the course start date, at the latest. If you book in the 2 week window, we cannot guarantee on-time delivery.
