Daisy White

Daisy is a classically trained embroiderer with a passion for pushing traditional techniques in new and exciting directions. She studied at the Royal School of Needlework, graduating with a First-Class Honours degree in Hand Embroidery, and has since specialised in three-dimensional embroidery, including sculptural Goldwork and raised work (Stumpwork).

Her expertise has led her to work with renowned fashion houses like Loro Piana and Alexander McQueen, applying her skills to high-end couture projects.

Now part of the Hand & Lock education team, Daisy is passionate about preserving traditional embroidery techniques and creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment, helping students gain confidence and develop their own creative voices.
