Ilaria is a contemporary textile and fashion artist who blends painting, threads and fabric into wearable art. She combines traditional sewing techniques with innovative design. Based in London, she explores Italian heritage and British culture to create bespoke garments. Her work has been featured at sewing festivals and in magazines.

Syncresis is a map of memory, identity and cultural dialogue. It embodies the synergy and fusion of Ilaria’s native Italian heritage with her adopted British culture. Her personal story unfolds through a series of Leonardo da Vinci’s preparatory sketches, hand-drawn and embroidered. Upcycled fabric from a British trench coat, hand-made Italian linen and decorative brocade enrich the dialogue between traditions and materials.
