Dancing at Duvet

Named after the Bristol-based House collective 'Duvet Vous?' that her family started in 1999 and still runs today. Eden's "Dancing at Duvet" is a largescale backdrop that encapsulates the dynamic and atmospheric community of UK Deep House that she has been raised in.

Translating from photograph to stitch, Eden interlinks images of herself, friends and family that connotes the collective identity within this sphere. The piece's foreground features the different rigs that she has danced to which are the beating heart of the scene and a self-portrait in the background communicates the experience of oneness with the crowd whilst dancing.
