Hand to Hand

Inspired by his grandmothers, a Japanese embroiderer and a kimono tailor, Kai explores the
invisible connection between their craftsmanship and his own. Hand to Hand brings this
inheritance to life through a crane formed from around 500 stitched origami cranes, carrying
tradition from one generation into a new expression.
