The William Morris Collection
This October, in collaboration with the William Morris Gallery and their new exhibition 'Women in Print', Hand & Lock has produced a limited edition collection of May Morris inspired embroidery kits and contemporary embroidered patches and accessories. This special collection takes direct inspiration from the Morris Archive which the Hand & Lock production team were lucky enough to explore in person.
Each piece is derived from a specific archival May Morris or Morris & Co design, referencing shape, texture or colour.
Women in Print opens at the William Morris Gallery on the 18th October 2025. This major exhibition will highlight the pivotal role and contributions of women textile designers throughout history up to the present day, as well as delving into 150 years of Liberty Fabric history.https://www.wmgallery.org.uk/event/women-in-print/
