As your expertise flourishes, you will delve into a diverse array of opulent hand stitching techniques, skillfully bringing them to life with a harmonious palette of thread colours. From classic elegance to avant-garde innovation, you will breathe life into a spectrum of embellishment techniques, fashioning your own exquisite example of couture embroidery.

Techniques & Breakdown

At the end of this 6 week course you will have achieved a beautiful piece of Contemporary Couture embroidery showcasing a range of materials techniques and processes that can be applied to any project. During this course you will be taught a range of Threadwork techniques such as Silk Shading, French Knots to name a couple. As well as Goldwork and 3d Beading techniques. Learning how to combine different types of embroidery and create a gorgeous outcome.

Materials & Kits

All of the materials for this course will be sent out to you. You will need a 10 inch seat frame or an equivalent embroidery frame or slate frame for this class. You will need to supply your own embroidery equipment (scissors, needle threaders, daylight lights etc) to suit your learning needs.

Technical Information

Our online courses are delivered via Zoom using a high-quality visualiser for close-up stitching. We record each session so you can catch up or revise later. You’ll also be added to a dedicated WhatsApp group, where students and tutors can connect, share photos, ask questions and cheer each other on.

All of the materials for your course will be shipped to you, unless otherwise stated in the product description.

UK Shipping - Parcels will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 3 days before the course start date, at the latest.

International Shipping - Parcels are shipped via express courier 2 weeks before the course start date, at the latest. If you book in the 2 week window, we cannot guarantee on-time delivery.
