At the Hand & Lock Studio we recently hosted a staff event where our team gathered for a fun afternoon of patch application. Team members brought in their own garments to upcycle, giving jackets, jeans, skirts, bags and more a new lease of life using a range of our machine embroidered iron-on patches. The patches came from a mix of our new collections - including our exclusive events stock patches - archive designs and sample pieces.
It was a great opportunity to repurpose materials, refresh our own wardrobes, and get hands-on with some of our latest designs. The event was also a wonderful chance for staff to practice and perfect their patch application techniques we use during our live customisation events. It was a fun and relaxed afternoon that combined creativity with craftsmanship.

Among the highlights were designs from our new events exclusive patch collections, including the romantic ‘Lovers’ series and the starry-eyed ‘Celestial’ range. These collections are used exclusively for our custom events services, so it was a fun treat for our team to engage with them hands-on.
These unique patches along with a range of other beautiful designs are also available as machine embroidered motifs which can be sewn directly onto your garment, tote bag or fabric item of your choosing and could be the perfect addition to your machine embroidery event.
The atmosphere was fun, relaxed and inspiring, a reminder of how a simple patch can completely transform an item and make it personal to you.
