Tambour Courses
Tambour beading is a mindful embroidery technique that uses a small hook to apply beads and sequins in a continuous chain stitch applied in a rhythmic style. It originated in India and made its way to Europe in the 18th century, where it quickly became associated with elegance and high fashion. The name Tambour is the French word for drum and it is linked to the technique as the embroidery frame holds the fabric tight (like a drum skin) while stitching. Our Tambour Beading courses are taught in our London studio and online using the highest quality technology.
