Counted Thread Embroidery like you have never seen it before! The Counted Thread Masterclass is perfect for anyone who wants to take their traditional embroidery skills to the next level, particularly for those new to this intricate craft. This course is designed for beginners, providing an exciting entry point into the world of Counted Threadwork. Traditionally created in black threads onto a white linen, this embroidery technique has a new lease of life with our dazzling emerald and gold take on the designs. Add a pop of colour, playing with threads of different textures and thicknesses and become a pro with this class. Whether you're a novice to embroidery or have never experienced working with counted threads, this class unveils the art of transforming these elements into your own masterpieces. 

Techniques & Breakdown

You will be guided through the process of Counted Thread embroidery from beginning to end with our beautiful new 6 week course. You will be taught a range of traditional counting techniques with a colourful twist. As well as how to blend stitches and how to change the look of a piece by the amount of threads.

Materials & Kits

All of the materials for this course will be sent out to you. You will need a 10 inch seat frame or an equivalent embroidery frame or slate frame for this class. You will need to supply your own embroidery equipment (scissors, needle threaders, daylight lights etc) to suit your learning needs.

Technical Information

Our online courses are delivered via Zoom using a high-quality visualiser for close-up stitching. We record each session so you can catch up or revise later. You’ll also be added to a dedicated WhatsApp group, where students and tutors can connect, share photos, ask questions and cheer each other on.

Shipping Information

All of the materials for your course will be shipped to you, unless otherwise stated in the product description.

UK Shipping - Parcels will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 3 days before the course start date, at the latest.

International Shipping - Parcels are shipped via express courier 2 weeks before the course start date, at the latest. If you book in the 2 week window, we cannot guarantee on-time delivery.
