Metallic Fil à Gant Threads

Fil A Gant is a very strong pre-treated thread. It is also referred to as Fil au Chinois thread and Gloven Thread. Fil A Gant is one of the strongest varieties of sewing thread, making it perfect for techniques like Tambour Beading and Goldwork.

This 100% cotton thread is strong and waxed to help embroider beads and sequins without any difficulty or snagging. The coating also makes it perfect for applying Goldwork embroidery materials without wax. 

 These reflective threads are made from a thin strip of metallic coated plastic coiled around a polyester core.
