We have created a bundle of our most recent Bernadette Banner embroidery kits. Get all three iconic kits for a special bundle price. 

Harvest Moon Kit
The 'Harvest Moon' design was created in conjunction with Bernadette's recent video, where she creates a 'harvest moon' inspired gown for a ball, in black and luxurious metallic gold. We created the embroidered panel for Bernadette's 'reticule' or velvet pouch bag. The large moon and beaded details hanging from the moon were inspired by Bernadette's gown design and initial fashion illustrations. 'Wheat' is a classical motif, often depicted in traditional goldwork embroidery so it felt only natural to weave this into the design, whilst the gradient effect and little black, white and dark green magpie add some contemporary features.
This kit focuses on H&L's specialist technique of goldwork embroidery - a technique that has not changed for hundreds of years and is still used today within military, ceremonial and fashion embroidery. This technique uses metal bullions to create luxuriously raised and intricately textured designs.  This design also offers you the opportunity to try your hand at threadwork embroidery and goldwork 'chipping'.

The Wheatsheaf Kit
The 'Wheatsheaf' design was created in conjunction with Bernadette's recent video, where she creates a 'harvest moon' inspired gown for a ball, in black and luxurious metallic gold. We created the embroidered panel for Bernadette's 'reticule' or velvet pouch bag. In this kit, you have the opportunity to create exactly the same design! The moon and beaded details hanging from the moon were inspired by Bernadette's gown design and initial fashion illustrations. The Joan of Arc Kit

The final heroine of our 'Icons & Pioneers' collection is Jeanne D'Arc or Joan of Arc as she is famously known. A medieval peasant girl turned legendary military leader, Joan of Arc led the French Army to victory during the Hundred Years' War. She transcended gender roles and challenged societal norms by dressing in men's armour and cropping her hair with a sword. A defiant female figure and a symbol of courage, Joan of Arc was also a big inspiration for our own 'Lady Lock' character in our 'Once upon a time in Luneville' AW25 collection.

We could think of no better way to honour this iconic woman than collaborating with a modern day icon (and our favourite fashion historian, costume designer & YouTuber!) Bernadette Banner. The whole team came together again to bring you a brand new project inspired by Joan of Arc and of course, a brand new collaborative embroidery kit!
