The fern leaves, embroidered entirely in varying shades and qualities of gold, reference traditional hand embroidered goldwork leaves, often made for ceremonial projects. The ferns have been designed with costume designers in mind who may be looking for ready made motifs to add to a period costume. The ferns are sold as a mirrored pair, so would work perfectly on a jacket, or can be bought in multiples to create a repeat.
These patches are made with iron on backing and can be fixed to a cushion cover, a jacket that needs updating, a favourite t-shirt and much more.
