Charlotte Gaunt is a creative force in textile design, known for her innovative approach to traditional techniques. As the founder of Rediscovered By, she specializes in screen-printing and textile design from her Rutland studio. Trained at Goldsmiths University and the Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia, she reinterprets historical textile methods for modern interiors.
Charlotte’s work blends history with contemporary design, drawing from nature to create intricate prints and macabre yet beautiful motifs. From foxglove-printed tablecloths to botanical wallpapers with flocked bumblebees, her designs capture nature’s beauty and fragility.
She also teaches, contributing to the Hand & Lock Diploma’s interiors unit and offering courses in Flocking, Foiling, and Silk Painting.
