Encouraged from a young age to pursue her creative passions, Sukie has always been interested in art and design. A graduate of Kingston University and a member of the NAGTY (National Academy of Gifted and Talented youth) Sukie has developed unrivalled expertise in illustration, textiles, photography and graphic design.
After graduating in 2015, Sukie worked in graphic design and embroidery for six years at the British heritage menswear label Kent & Curwen. A passionate advocate for the power of embroidery to add animation, interest and artistic expression to apparel, Sukie enjoys projects that force her to learn something new and be innovative.
At Hand & Lock, her day-to-day tasks include working on a myriad of broad client briefs creating line drawings and complex annotations for the embroidery team to follow. Since joining the historic embroidery house, she has been instrumental in delivering major projects for Burberry and the King’s Coronation.
