Protective Natures

My work stems from the dualism of nature. The idea is that nature is a subliminal force, uncontrollable, untameable, a dangerous entity you need to protect yourself from. But also as something you can cherish and in turn can protect you.

My final piece combines these juxtaposing concepts, creating an outerwear piece that embodies physical protection from the elements and the embellishments represent Celtic symbols of protection that are to ensure the wearers safety.
