The project brings together a range of techniques, giving you the opportunity to explore different ways of creating texture, colour and embellishment within one piece.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eUsing tambour embroidery, you’ll learn how to create the surface of the pond with beading and sequin techniques, building up layers of soft pastel colours to suggest the movement and texture of the water. You’ll then add goldwork elements, including delicate lilypads and dragonflies, to bring contrast and a touch of sparkle to the design. Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to combine the different materials and techniques, exploring how tambour work and goldwork can complement each other.
