You’ll have the freedom to choose your own colours, creating a unique painted base before adding the embroidery over the top.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOnce your fabric is painted, you’ll explore a mix of goldwork, threadwork and beading techniques to embellish the iris. You’ll learn how to combine different threads, metallic materials and beads to add texture, detail and dimension to the design.The painted background becomes part of the embroidery, allowing the colour and stitch work to work together rather than creating a separate background and design.
