Savannah, Georgia-based artist, Amanda Bennett, melds art with science. She transforms natural polymers found in algae and gelatin through the techniques of weaving, embroidery, sculpture and the practice of chemistry. Her work reimagines what a material can be, reconnecting us with nature and creating healthier materials for our bodies and environments.
