Embroiderer

Keren Gross

Born in Israel, Keren studied Fashion Design at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design before graduating in 2004. In Oct 2014 she joined Hand & Lock as an embroiderer.

Keren has an exquisite eye for detail and is, like most embroiderers, a perfectionist. Prior to joining Hand & Lock Keren was a designer in her native Israel and understands overall garment construction, colour and silhouette.

This design understanding has made her one of the best embroiderers working today in London and someone who can offer vital constructive feedback to ensure flawless embroidery, on time every time.

Her passion for embroidery is especially evident when Keren teaches embroidery classes. Students benefit from her extensive knowledge and her keen ability to simplify and break down the embroidery techniques into manageable chunks.

"Keren is super sweet and takes immense pride in her work, but if you take her scissors she will shoot you a look that will freeze your blood."
