Born in New Zealand before moving to Australia, Dominique graduated from the Whitehouse Institute of Design with a BA degree in Fashion Design. Dominique moved to London in 2016 to work at Hand & Lock.
As Hand & Lock’s studio manager, Dominque shapes the studio into a structured working environment by overseeing the work schedules of the embroiderers and interns. With a keen eye for detail she keeps everyone on course and makes certain studio jobs are delivered on schedule.
Dominique overseas the busy workroom schedule, ensures all incoming jobs are dispatched to the most suited and skilled team member and sets appropriate deadlines for work. She also ensures the studio is an efficient, well supplied and enjoyable environment for everyone.
In addition to her studio responsibilities, Dominique handles all incoming enquiries and will be the first point of contact for many of the clients that come to the Hand & Lock studio. From start to finish she is responsible for maintaining the exceptional quality that Hand & Lock is known for.
